  1. The man standing next to the Goliath Grouper is certainly not Harry Hill. Not sure where Florida Memory got that info. However all of the early photos at top of Fort Pierce were taken by Harry Hill the owner of the Florida Photographic Concern and he should get credit!

    • Thank you for bringing this to our attention! We have determined that Harry Hill was likely the photographer, not the subject, of this photograph. Harry E. Hill was born in 1865 and died in 1937, which would make him a good bit older than the lucky fellow in this photo at the time it was taken. The item page will reflect these updates shortly.
