This day-long Greek Orthodox celebration includes a morning service at St. Nicholas Cathedral, the release of a white dove of peace, the ritual dive by Greek Orthodox boys in Spring Bayou for a cross, which is followed by Greek foods, music, and dancing, known as a glendi.
