General Note
Captain Ray Singleton of Mayport is a restaurateur, model boat builder, oral historian, and retired shrimper. In the 1930s he began building scale models of the shrimp boats he has known around the Mayport area many of which no longer exist. He displays them in his restaurant and through them passes on the lore and wisdom of the Mayport fishing community.
