General Note
Mr. O'Hara was born in Chatham, Ontario, Canada, on February 2, 1882. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1904 and became a writer of hymns and songs. He had moderate hits in the 1910s with titles such as "Your Eyes Have Told Me What I Did Not Know" and "Tennessee, I Hear You Calling Me". His biggest hit came in 1918 with the song"K-K-K-Katy", one of the most popular songs of the decade. The song appeared in four movies, according to the Internet Movie Database (imdb.com). Mr. O'Hara died on January 31, 1967 in St. Petersburg, Florida.
