of $6,000 Earners
With the thought that annual expenses to keep a horse
in training, on the average throughout the United States,
amount to about $6,000, the following list has been compiled
ranking sires represented by 10 or more runners in 1967 by
the percentage of each sire's runners which paid their way.
Last year, about 14 per cent all runners earned $6,000
or more.
