Accompanying note: "At the request of Governor Charlie Crist, Secretary of State Kurt Browning, Secretary of the Department of State briefs the media at the State Emergency Operations Center in Tallahassee on August 20th about the possible impact of Tropical Storm Fay as related to the primary elections scheduled for August 26th. The media also inquired about closings of early voting sites. Some counties were allowed to close their early voting sites for one or two days based on the Executive Order 08-171 signed by Governor Crist on August 17, 2008."
