  • One compact disc. Kay, director of the Florida Folk Festival, served as emcee. Born in Kentucky, Rhody became a well-known Nashville songwriter. His breakthrough song was the 1978 number one country hit (and pop crossover hit) "I Will Be True to You," recorded by the Oak Ridge Boys. He also wrote songs for George Jones, Keith Whitley, Toby Keith, Red Lane, and Tanya Tucker. In 1981, he released his first solo album, Stop the Rain.
