  • One compact disc. Gauss served as emcee. Based out of Portland, Oregon, Anger is a violinist who plays jazz, classic, old time, and bluegrass. He began with the David Grisman Quintet and later formed the Turtle Island Quartet in San Francisco. Grier was a bluegrass guitarist. E learned from his father, Lamar Grier, who played banjo for Bill Monroe's Bluegrass Boys in the 1960s. Josh Kinken backed-up on mandolin.
