Edmund Muskie, who has been invited to attend a Florida Cabinet session. He compares Florida's unique Cabinet system to the executive Cabinet system of Maine. He praises the new progressive Democratic leadership of the south (sound). Farris Bryant introduces first lady Ladybird Johnson, who speaks at Florida State University's Ruby Diamond auditorium. She comments on her "whistle-stop" tour of the south, education issues and Florida's role in the space program.
