was occasioned by the winds and neglect.

Has known McHardy to make 50 or 60 bales of cotton with his 21 hands in good years. 1812 was a very fine year for a crop. 1812 was a very fine year for a crop. There was a cold spring in 1813- it was not a good year for planting but an average crop would have been made had they been properly attended to. McHardy owned some cattle and horses w don't know that he lost them.
