General Note
Originally built in 1887 as a family home for Dr. F.W. Inman, 43 rooms were added in 1905. The hotel was sold to the Florence Villa Hotel Co. in 1906 and continued to serve the public until the 1930s. The hotel also owned the surrounding 695 acres.
