Biographical Note
Justice Anstead was born in 1937. On August 29, 1994, he was appointed to the Florida Supreme Court by Governor Lawton Chiles. He served as Florida's 50th Chief Justice from July 1, 2002 until June 30, 2004. Harry Lee Anstead retired from the Court on January 5, 2009.
