The spring at San Luis where tradition says Prince Charles Napoleon Achille Murat met the beautiful young widow, Catherine Willis Gray. She is supposed to have lost her slipper in the spring. The Prince retrieved the slipper, drank a toast to the lady and replaced it on her foot.
