Correspondence between Governor Millard Caldwell and Joe Sears concerning a telegram written by Homer B. Clince which spoke of a worker rally in Jacksonville to protest lynching in Florida. Caldwell forwarded telegram to Joe Sears, who advised him to disregard the telegram and what was said. Sears also proclaims that there is a problem in Jacksonville because of the number of people of color registered to vote.
