Sawmill: Raw footage of Frog talking with sawmill worker Joe Hendry, at Jerome Lumber Company. They discuss sawmilling in Florida in the early 1900s, including pine and cypress timber, logging, accidents and dangers of sawmills, child labor, and tools involved. Called Pioneer Homes, it involved Frog and Cypress Knee Museum owner Tom Gaskins making cypress shingles and discussing carpentry, jokes, hunting stores, and local lore. Also includes ten minutes of cutaways and inserts of the museum, including the workshop, signs, and exhibits. Filmed at Hagan Seafood Dock, the video consists of Frog Smith talking with Lehr (on the dock, and on a couple of the shrimp boats) about alligator hunting, pirtaes, Calusa Indians, shrimping, fishing, excavating lcoal mounds, and how the Caloosahatchee River has developed. Also inlcudes B-roll footage of several shrimp boats.
