Description

This film reel contains four segments made by WFSU-TV between December 1975 and January 1976. First, Black fashion models walk and pose in front of a fountain at The Tallahassee Mall, where a “Tallahassee Hallmark Shop” sign, Christmas wreaths, ornaments and garlands can be seen in the background. In the next segment, a women’s exercise class at a YMCA is shown. The third segment cuts back to holiday celebrations at the Tallahassee Mall, where a woman wearing a Santa costume listens to the Christmas wishes of children Amy, Mark and Donna. EZ Bake ovens, roller skates, Rub-A-Dub Dolly, Six Million Dollar Man and Star Trek Enterprise toys are among the gifts requested. Finally, the film shows a faculty art show at the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts building. The following people were featured in the art show: Chuck Toman, Stephen Pressler, Jim Roche, Ken Kenniston, Mark Witten, Arthur Deshaies, Tyler Terkle, Janice Hartwell, Jack Mims, Scott Guthrie, William Walmsley, Ray Burggraf, and Robert Fichter.
